Dance Du Coeur starts its 15th season August 18, 2025!
Season #15 of Dance Du Coeur begins Monday, August 18, 2025, with a full schedule of Fort Bend dance classes for ages 18 months through 18 years, plus a couple of adult classes!
Genres include ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, hip-hop, acro dance, and aerial silks.
Dance Du Coeur is the only studio in the Sugar Land area to offer a licensed curriculum for younger children through Leap-N-Learn, a research-based method designed by a professional dancer and psychologist to teach dance through developmentally appropriate exercises with a strong emphasis on creative movement. The Leap-N-Learn curriculum is used in all classes for children under the age of 7, and all DDC teachers are certified in the method.
Intro to Ballet, for ages 5-6, is the only ballet-based class for younger children that does not use the Leap-N-Learn curriculum because it is geared for more advanced students who have already taken two years of creative movement.
Starting at age 7, children can take a level 1 class in any genre offered at the studio.
Most genres go through level 4 and some go through level 5. Acro dance and Aerial Silks only have a beginner and advanced level.
This season, we offer Aerial Silks and Hip Hop for adults too!
Also new to this season is Daddy Dance which will begin in January for students ages 5-7 and their fathers. This is a performance based class with the sole purpose of preparing and practicing a “couples” dance for dancers and fathers to perform on Recital Day!
Registration fee is waived for fathers.
All classes are open for enrollment here.
The registration fee is $75 per student and $125 per family.
