One Beat Christmas Performers Bring Comfort to Patients
One Beat Christmas performers helped mend some broken hearts at the Memorial Hermann Center for Advanced Heart Failure on December 12 by bringing two special dances and lots of Christmas cheer to patients who are in the hospital awaiting heart transplants.
Others that came to watch the performance are recipients of heart an lung transplants.
“Even Santa Clause received a new heart last year,” said Christa Miles who is the Surgery Patient Care Coordinator at the hospital and also a dance teacher at Dance Du Coeur. “Everyone raved today about how wonderful it was to have One Beat perform! It was such a great holiday treat for the patients.”
Performers were: Ansley Harris, Keira Luce, Emily Elsner, Laila McGuire, Jada Bryant, Alyssa Rodriguez, Lily Eubanks, Sarah Linn, Madeleine Lara, Gabriella Lara, Khloe Deary, Victoria Williams, Kaitlin Smith, Sophia Shernak, and Addison Rawbone.
