Pre-Pro program offers trial class day May 5
Dance Du Coeur’s pre-pro program, for ages 10-18, is offering a trial class day to interested applicants with a strong ballet background on Thursday, May 5th from 12:30-4:00 p.m.
We will offer a two hour ballet class followed by a 30 minute question and answer session and then a one hour modern class.
Students need to wear a black leotard with pink tights and bring a pair of black tights for modern. Hair should be in a neat bun. Boys can wear a black shirt with black dance pants.
The Sugar Land Pre-Pro program strives to produce excellent, well-rounded artists who are in the best possible position to pursue a wide range of dance opportunities in a rapidly evolving arts environment.
Highly versatile, the program offers rigorous ballet and modern classes as well as jazz, contemporary, improvisation, choreography, and Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT).
Our dancers are not only highly proficient technicians, they have an acute understanding of movement, style, performance, and the creative process. Because the program is small, dancers receive individualized attention.
The prepro program is Monday-Friday from 12:30pm to 3:30pm and follows the academic year: August 22, 2022 to the end of May, 2023.
It is for homeschooled students or those who are in private, flexible learning environment.
Cost is $500 a month and a $250 non-refundable deposit is due June 1, 2022. The deposit will be applied to first month’s tuition. Cost for the trial day is $75.

Prospective students and families are also invited to attend the Pre-Pro’s end of year showcase at the studio on Monday, May 16 from 1:00-2:00pm and on Monday, May 23 from 5:30-6:30pm.
