Anti-Gravity Aerial Yoga and Suspension Fitness class

We are excited to offer a new class for adults and dancers age 8 and up which is the first of it’s kind in Fort Bend County!

Anti-Gravity Aerial Yoga and Suspension Fitness incorporates Aerial Silks, called “Harrison Hammocks”, to decompress the spine to allow for enhanced mobility, flexibility and agility.

This unique training works to strengthen your core, help with alignment, and improve balance.

“Explore the evolution of yoga into 3-dimensional space. Every asana and vinyasa sequence on the Harrison AntiGravity® Hammock is taught with clear progressions. We will challenge the balance, length and strength throughout the body while connecting to the breath. Here we spend more time stretching and lengthening both standing and through inversions. Still toning and strengthening through long lean muscles, we will find poised extension at a moderate pace throughout this class”, explains Kate Rouzer, former professional ballerina with the St. Louis Ballet.

Kate holds 3 AntiGravity® Certifications in Decompression, Aerial Yoga, and Suspension Fitness. She has been teaching AntiGravity® Fitness in the St. Louis area since 2013, and is now teaching in multiple location across the US. Kate is also a climber, and former route setter for Upper Limits Climbing Gym. As a dancer she has cross-traines to build muscle and maintain strength as well as increase stamina and flexibility throughout her career. Kate enjoys imparting the knowledge she has gained in all fields. Find more information at www.katerouzer.com.
