Abigail Robertson
Abigail Robertson is a recent graduate of Texas Christian University where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet and Modern Dance.
Robertson is also certified in Pilates.
Currently, she is apprenticing at Open Dance Project, a contemporary dance company in Houston.
She will be teaching one Pre Ballet and level 1 classes on Saturdays this Fall at Dance Du Coeur Sugar Land Dance Studio, including a Mini Technique class for advanced students aged 5-6 who have an interest in competitive dance.
“I believe dance is a powerful vehicle for self-expression and healing,” says Abigail of her teaching philosophy. “My teaching centers on honoring each student’s individuality, creating an inclusive, supportive environment that prioritizes health, functionality, and sustainable movement. I emphasize body awareness, alignment, and injury prevention, encouraging students to respect and listen to their own bodies.”
