Jump Start Drill Team Intensive
Get a jump start on the drill/dance team season with this Sugar Land three day drill team intensive that packs in 16 hours of dance preparation!
Instruction includes Precision (Pom and Military), leaps, turns, flexibility training & conditioning, jazz technique, hip hop, contemporary/lyrical and ballet!
DATES: July 13 to 15th, 2022 from 10am to 4pm

No refunds for cancellations. Intensive will be cancelled with two weeks notice and refund given if fewer than 10 students enroll. Depending on the number of enrollments, the group may be divided into an intermediate and advanced level.
Drill/dance team 3 day intensive instructors
Yoshi Pineda is a lead instructor and choreographer for MA Dance and DX Events and adjudicates at the international level. Originally from NYC where he danced professionally, he has also performed in and directed shows with the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and toured internationally with On the Fly, an aerial acrobatics company where he worked as a choreographer, dancer, and aerialist. He is a commercial dancer represented by the Movement Talent Agency in L.A.
Jesus Acosta is a nationally recognized authority on jazz technique and knows what judges are looking for in a routine! He has 15 years experience in judging and teaching for MA Dance and Auxiliaries, the leading high school dance competition and camp program in the U.S. He also serves as adjudicator for the nation’s most competitive state programs, including the Iowa State Championships and Utah State Drill Team Competitions. He dances professionally in Houston and teaches/choreographs for dancers at all levels, from the Houston Texans Cheerleaders to local high school students.
There is limited space in the camps, so there are no refunds for summer camps or the intensive. Please choose your week carefully.
No refunds or changes are allowed for missed classes in the summer.
If we have fewer than 3 students enrolled in a summer class, we will notify you 2 days in advance and allow you to switch to another class. We assess enrollment in each class daily.
