3-day summer Fort Bend dance/drill intensive June 21-23, 2021, (10am to 4pm) For ages 12-18, $250 ($225 for enrollment before 5/01)

Dance Du Coeur in Sugar Land, TX is offering a summer intensive 2021 dance and drill team camp for middle and high school students to give them a “Jump Start” on the fall season!

Summer intensive 2021 dance options

This three day Fort Bend summer intensive, from June 21-23 2021 (10am to 4pm), is for ages 12 to 18 and includes:

  • 14 hours of dance technique in Precision (Pom and Military)
  • Leaps
  • Turns
  • Jazz
  • Hip hop
  • Contemporary/lyrical
  • Ballet

There’s also a flexibility and conditioning class!

Our summer intensive instructors

Yoshi Pineda is a lead instructor and choreographer for MA Dance and DX Events and adjudicates at the international level. Originally from NYC where he danced professionally, he has also performed in and directed shows with the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and toured internationally with On the Fly, an aerial acrobatics company where he worked as a choreographer, dancer, and aerialist. He is a commercial dancer represented by the Movement Talent Agency in L.A.

Mary Orr is a dance educator and choreographer based out of Houston who has worked with many local high school dance teams. Mary has been an ajudicator for Miss Drilll Team Texas as well. She has taught dance and choreographed for Hintze Dance Center since 2012. Mary has a BFA in Dance from Sam Houston State and performed with various Houston companies, including Hope Stone, Rednerrus Feil, and the VAULT

The summer intensive will be cancelled with two weeks notice and refund given if fewer than 10 students enroll. Depending on the number of enrollments, the group may be divided into an intermediate and advanced level.
